any tips and pointers for starting a tumblr?
Aww, I’m flattered that you’re asking! I don’t really have any tips, because I really just starting using Tumblr accidentally, and I really get it or interact with people on it until a week or so ago. But now, I’m totally hooked.
I’m more of a blogger. I’ve got my own website, if you want to check it out here. It’s kinda my pet project. But, I am starting to really rely on tumblr to post stuff too, cause I can use tumblr from my iphone and I can’t update my blog from my phone.
But, back to the topic…I guess my biggest advice is to reblog posts you like and find people who posts things that interest you and follow them. Just by following people, you’ll gain followers, and eventually Tumblr becomes like a little community. It’s really cute, actually. For this reason alone, I’m starting to enjoy it more than Twitter, and I’m ADDICTED to Twitter.
So, yeah, I hope that kinda helps :)
